What we don’t do
- No cookies, from us or anyone else.
- No local storage, session storage or other browser storage.
- No advertising or tracking pixels, and no social media widgets that track you.
How our analytics work without cookies
We use PostHog (EU Cloud) to see which version of our home page leads to sign-ups. Instead of putting an ID in a cookie, our server works out a temporary code from your IP address and browser type, using a secret that changes every day. The code can't be turned back into your IP address, it changes every day, and your browser holds it only in memory until you close the page. PostHog is set to discard IP addresses and never receives your email or name.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we send no analytics at all. The full details, including our lawful basis and how long we keep analytics, are in our privacy policy.
If this changes
If we ever need cookies or similar technology that isn't strictly necessary, we'll ask for your permission before using it and update this page.
